NIGERIAN CHAPMAN

  Nigeria’s favorite non-alcoholic cocktail, this Nigerian chapman drink is a version of the refreshing beverage with more natural alternatives but the same great taste! Ingredients A bottle of Fanta  A bottle of Sprite  Grenadine syrup (1 cup) 5-10 spoons of orange juice (optional) 1 lemon or lime cucumber Ice cubes I use the orange and cucumber for garnishing; you can use lime, oranges, cucumber, grapes, a combination of two or even just lemon is okay. How To Prepare Chapman Drink Step 1 Get a simple wine glass or a giant mug, pour a cup full of grenadine syrup. Step 2 Pour in the sprite and Fanta into the same jug. Step 3 Add the fresh orange juice, and shake or stir with a spoon. At this point you are almost done with making the Chapman Nigerian drink, distribute in glass cups and then throw in the garnishing fruits. DANWAKE

  Dan wake is a delicious meal that is indigenous to the people of Hausa, Nigeria. We can make it in less than 20 minutes if you can find already mixed flour. Dan Wake Ingredients Grounded beans powder (2 cups) Bao bao (kuka) (3 teaspoons) Potash (1 teaspoon). For Serving: Ground cayenne pepper (yaji) Suya (suya pepper or spice) Sliced Vegetables (onions, cabbage, tomatoes, cucumber) Vegetable/beef sauce. Stock Cubes Hard-boiled eggs How To Make Dan Wake Here is the recipe for the “Dan wake”. Step 1 First, you get the Dan wake flour which is readily available now. You get the flour and mix it with a little water to make a thick paste. When you are done with making the paste, boil water in a pot and proceed to the next level. Step 2 When the water starts to boil, keep forming the paste into small balls and throwing them into the boiling water. SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE

  Everyone needs a basic spaghetti bolognese recipe that still tastes great, no matter how simple. Get that depth of flavour by cooking the sauce very gently until it’s super rich.  Ingredients Vegetable oil Minced meat Onion(diced)  Garlic cloves, chopped  Carrots, grated Chopped tomatoes Beef stock Spaghetti  salt and pepper   Seasoning  Method Heat a large saucepan over a medium heat. Add a tablespoon of olive oil and once hot add the beef mince and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook the mince until well browned over a medium-high heat (be careful not to burn the mince. It just needs to be a dark brown colour). Once browned, transfer the mince to a bowl and set aside. Add another tablespoon of oil to the saucepan you browned the mince in and turn the heat to medium. Add the onions and a pinch of salt and fry gently for 5-6 minutes, or until softened and translucent. Add the garlic and cook for another 2 minutes. Add the grated carrot then pour the mince and any juices in the bowl back

CHICKEN LOADED FRIES

  Create a delicious meal with crisp French fries loaded with bite-size chicken pieces oozing with melted mozzarella cheese. Hot chips loaded with all your favourite things. Marinade boneless chicken 1 tbsp Oil 1 tbsp Garlic Paste 1 tsp Chilli Powder 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Turmeric Powder 1 tsp Coriander Powder 1 tbsp Tandoori Masala 1 tbsp Lemon Juice 1 tsp Crushed Chilli Stir Fry 1 Onion 1 Bell Pepper Green 1 Bell Pepper Red 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup Mozzarella cheese  Black Pepper INSTRUCTIONS  Cut the boneless chicken into small pieces In a bowl add all the marinade ingredients to the boneless chicken then mix the spices until well combined In a pan cook the chicken for 10 minutes on medium heat As the chicken is cooking slice the onions and julienne the bell peppers. Add the bell peppers and onions to the chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes Add the tomato ketchup and mix to combine Prepare your fries and once cooked add into broil proof dish Add the chicken mixture on top and top with mozzarel

PENNE ARRABBIATA

  Arrabbiata sauce, known in Italian as sugo all'arrabbiata, is a spicy sauce for pasta made from garlic, tomatoes, and dried red chili peppers cooked in olive oil. The sauce originates from the Lazio region of Italy, and particularly from the city of Rome. How to make penne arrabbiata: 1. Cook pasta:  penne or other desired pasta. Drain and set aside. 2. Make the arrabbiata sauce.   Add oil, garlic, and crushed red pepper to a skillet over medium heat and cook for 30 seconds.  Add the whole tomatoes, tomato paste, and simmer for 10 minutes before removing from heat and adding the fresh basil. 3. Add pasta and parmesan.  Toss and enjoy.

ZOBO DRINK

  Zobo drink also known as Sorrel drink or hibiscus drink is easy to make and it's refreshing. This zobo drink recipe is quick and requires just few ingredients.  INGREDIENTS FOR ZOBO DRINK 5 litres water  2 pressed cup dried zobo leaves Peels of 2 pineapple  ¼ cup dried ginger 1 fistful lemongrass leaves (you should try boiling with bay leaf sometime, glorious!) 1 tbsp cloves  1 cinnamon stick  Sugar or sweetener of choice (to taste) Procedure  In a large pot bring your water to boil.  Once boiled add pineapple peels, lemongrass, cloves, ginger, cinnamon. Turn the heat down and let them boil for 10 mins  While those boil, rinse your dried zobo leaves with room temperature water to get rid of dirt and debris, especially if you purchased from open market. After boiling the other ingredients for 10 minutes, add the zobo leaves and turn the heat off. Keep the pot covered and leave the brew to cool down completely.  Decant the brew using a mesh sieve. VIRGIN MOJITO

  ๐ŸŠ   INGREDIENTS IN VIRGIN MOJITO Lime . If you can find the small-sized ones, get them; those limes have a stronger flavor. Fresh mint leaves . Ensure there are no black spots on the leaves and they are not withered. You will use it in making the virgin mojito and for the garnishing. Club soda or soft drink like sprite . You can mix club soda and sprite or use one, but if you decide to use club soda only, then increase the amount of sugar. Sugar . You will need it because we have lemon juice in the recipe. Also, you will use some of it to garnish the glass if you wish.  Ice . Some recipes call for crushed ice, but I like to use cubes. If you used crushed ice, add half before and half after the drink reaches three-fourths of the glass. ๐Ÿ”ช   INSTRUCTIONS Step 1 You will need a glass that can take one cup of liquid to make one serving. HARISSA GRILLED CHICKEN

  What is harissa? Harissa is a spicy chili condiment native to North Africa. It’s made from dehydrated chiles that have been reconstituted and blended with olive oil, herbs, and spices. While it’s not difficult to make your own, most people choose to buy theirs. The level of heat may vary between brands, and some brands even offer two separate mild and spicy versions. Find a brand that you like and stick with it. Ingredients 1/2   c.   harissa 6   Tbsp.   fresh lemon juice 1   Tbsp.   extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for grill 1   1/2   tsp.   ground cumin 1   1/2   tsp.   kosher salt 1   1/2   tsp.   smoked paprika 1   tsp.   ground coriander 2   lb.   skinless, boneless chicken thighs 2   Tbsp.   fresh cilantro, roughly chopped 1   lemon, cut into wedges Directions Step  1 In a large bowl, stir harissa, lemon juice, oil, cumin, salt, paprika, and coriander. JOLLOF RICE

  There are hundreds of different dishes in the world, but there is only a handful that has enough flavor for me to eat alone. A bowl of Jollof rice is one of those dishes. You know, the kind where you can taste the spoon or fork after you’re done with the food? I mean, you’d want to lick it clean. Jollof is deliciously addictive. Ingredients In Jollof Rice Ghana The base of this dish is fragrant rice steeped in rich ingredients  that are fairly common and easy to find. Here’s what you need: •  Aromatics:  Garlic, fresh ginger, and onions are sauteed at the start to give the rice an excellent flavor base. •  Tomatoes : I prefer using canned crushed tomatoes. They mostly cook into the rice leaving small pieces, rather than large chunks in the rice which I prefer.
